Rainy Day

Sunday night it started raining and didn't stop as it carried over into Monday with scattered showers off and on all day. That and the drop in temperature made for a boring day around our house on Monday. I had plenty to do as usual but Lila kept asking to go outside, to play dress up, to have a tea party, play games, you name it! Here are just a few of our pictures from the day...



Yes, she is wearing her princess dress over her jammies... isn't that how everyone does it?

And of course Lila HAD to have Emily join in...

although sister wasn't too excited about it!


I made Lila sit down for a picture. She looks pleased with me huh?


And to top it all off Monday night, it started SNOWING!! Oh Boy! The fun never ends!
Lila stood at the back door watching the snow begging to go outside...


Wayne took her out for a few minutes to build a little snowman but a few minutes was all Lila could handle. She didn't like the snow hitting her face. I wish it snowed more often - that girl is never ready to come in on her own!

Too bad she couldn't stay out long enough for mr.snowman to get a mouth!
